CHAPTERS BERLIN
CHAPTERS BERLIN
Problem:
Chapters Bookshop needed a brand identity that could celebrate the joy of physical reading while positioning itself as a progressive, community-driven space in Berlin. It had to be distinctive enough for clear wayfinding, yet meaningful in reflecting its mission to spark dialogue and collective action.
Thoughts:
I explored the idea of “turning the page” as both a literal and symbolic act—reading as movement, progress, and discovery. By focusing on the structure of chapters and the rhythm of reading, I aimed to create a visual language that felt intelligent, directional, and rooted in storytelling.
Solution:
The final identity uses bold, structured forms inspired by pages and chapters to create a flexible system that works across print, signage, and digital. The result is a distinctive, versatile brand that captures the pleasure of reading while visually expressing forward movement and community engagement.
